Does penis size matter?

There's a myth that the size of the penis affects a woman's sexual pleasure during intercourse. It's not true, but the myth leads many boys and men to worry about the size of their penis.

What is circumcision?

A small ring of skin called the foreskin normally covers the top of the penis. The ring of skin is often removed when the baby is a few days old. Removing the foreskin is called circumcision. More than 60 percent of boys in this country are circumcised within a few days of birth.

Are circumcised penises cleaner than uncircumcised ones?

The main benefit of circumcision is that it prevents urinary tract infections. It makes it easier for young boys to keep the penis clean. That doesn't mean that an uncircumcised penis is not clean. It's just that uncircumcised men and boys have to wash a bit more carefully.
